Vorarlberg’s award for the best small and medium-sized businesses goes to a company whose work takes it around the world.
On 8 October 2026, the jury of the KMU-Preis Vorarlberg recognised nesevo in the Services category. The award, officially the VN KMU-Preis, honours the region’s best small and medium-sized businesses. The Vorarlberger Nachrichten and the Austrian Economic Chamber in Vorarlberg organise it every year. Philipp Zuderell accepted the award on stage, and a large group of colleagues came along to celebrate with him.
What the jury said
“With worldwide projects for data centers and IT infrastructure, the company proves international competence. Its own locations on four continents create the basis for customer proximity and global solutions.”
That international work is very real. In fact, in the past few months alone our teams have installed more than 20 racks in Sydney, built the structured cabling for a new data center in Tokyo and deployed 64 racks with 640 servers in Ashburn. For many of these projects, the work started in our warehouse in Hörbranz.
Our own people, from start to finish
What sets nesevo apart is simple: we don’t hand projects to subcontractors. Instead, one team covers the whole chain, from procurement and integration to logistics, installation, patching and testing. As a result, customers get one point of contact and one company responsible for the result. On sensitive data center projects, that makes the difference.
When the right tool doesn’t exist, we build it. For example, our rack tilt unit moves fully loaded racks through data centers too tight for standard equipment.
Rooted in Vorarlberg
nesevo started in Hörbranz in 2007, and our headquarters are still there today. Last year, we also opened a new warehouse with more than 1,500 m² for rack integration. Since then, the team has grown to 64 people. At our headquarters, 43 percent of them are women, an unusually high share for an IT company.
Thank you to the Vorarlberger Nachrichten, the Wirtschaftskammer Vorarlberg and the jury. Above all, thank you to our team. This award is theirs.
