In order for us to provide you with our services, we need to collect personal data for correspondence purposes and fulfilling our service offerings, which include Project Management, Server Relocation, IT Cabling, IT Asset Disposal, and all of our other associated services. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

Name, contact details, and your indications of interest in our services and any notes you may supply as part of the “Get A Quote” forms from our website.

When third-party service providers no longer need your data to fulfil their service, they will dispose of the details in line with nesevo’s data security procedures. If we need to pass your sensitive personal data onto a third party, we will only do so once we have obtained your consent, via you having to formally “opt in”, unless we are legally required to do otherwise. As nesevo operates globally, we may share your details with partners outside of the EEA but only to partners that operate to nesevo’s privacy standard.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, customer data  is held for 7 years after contract end for tax purposes, marketing data is held until consent is withdrawn.

nesevo will process (collect, store and use) the information you provide in a manner compatible with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up to date, and not keep it for longer than is necessary. nesevo is required to retain information in accordance with the law, such as information needed for income tax and audit purposes. How long certain kinds of personal data should be kept may also be governed by specific business-sector requirements and agreed practices. Personal data may be held in addition to these periods depending on individual business needs.

You have certain rights regarding your personal information. Depending on your location, these may include:

9. International Transfers

Transfers within our corporate group: Your personal information may be accessed by our US-based affiliate company (nesevo US, Inc.) for the purpose of providing our services to you. Data remains physically stored on EU-based servers of cloud service prividers, but may be remotely accessed from the United States, where nesevo US, Inc. acts as data processor. In the context of projects in Asia, the same applies to our China and/or Japan based affiliate companies (nesevo (Shanghai), Ltd. / nesevo JP K.K.).

Transfers to service providers: We use services from EU-based cloud infrastructures provided by  Microsoft, Atlassian and Hubspot for data storage and collaboration. While data is stored on servers in the EU, Microsoft, as well as Atlassian and Hubspot (all US companies), may have access to data as our processor.

Safeguards for data transfers to the US: For transfers to the United States, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • Additional technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized government access, including encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring
  • Microsoft’s EU Data Boundary commitments and EU-US Data Privacy Framework certification
  • EU data residency for all cloud services we use

Safeguards for data transfers to China: For transfers to the People’s Republic of China, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • Additional technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized government access, including encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring
  • EU data residency for all cloud services we use

Safeguards for data transfers to Japan: Japan benefits from an adequacy decision by the European Commission, which means transfers to Japanese business operators are permitted without additional safeguards.

Transfers to other countries: We may also transfer data to other EEA countries where our servers are located. These transfers do not require additional safeguards as they remain within the EEA.

10. Marketing Communications

Our business has a sales function where we will use tools such as LinkedIn and networking events to further our business.
