Structured Cabling for a New Data Center in Tokyo

Data Center Relocation to France

Air-cooled and liquid-cooled racks side by side, cabled to one standard by three nesevo teams from Japan, the US and Europe.

A new site, built from scratch: our latest structured cabling project in Tokyo took a data center from an empty floor to a fully cabled, tested facility ready for go-live.

Two cooling concepts, one standard

This project had a mix we don't run into every day. Air-cooled and liquid-cooled racks stand side by side on the same floor. Each type comes with its own layout and constraints, but both needed exactly the same standard of cable management, patching and testing before handover.

From cable runs to certification

Our team installed the copper and fiber runs, then dressed and labeled every patch panel so the customer's operations team can find any connection quickly. Before the site went live, every link was tested and certified. That documentation is what gives the customer confidence that the infrastructure works as designed from day one. If you want to know why we put so much weight on this stage, read why structured cabling is the foundation of every successful data center.

Three teams, one floor

What made this build different was the team behind it. Colleagues from our US and European teams flew in to work alongside our team in Japan. Three nesevo teams on one floor, working on one build, with no subcontractors involved. Everyone worked to the same processes and standards, no matter which office they came from.

Our track record in Tokyo

This isn't our first project in Tokyo. Our Japanese team has supported customers there with data center deployment, full rack integration and ongoing DC services. You can find all our locations on our international page.
