One project, many countries, and every step of our 360° approach in play: procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, patching and testing.
Here's how the project ran. We handled the order management of all hardware from Austria, where our headquarters and integration warehouse are. The cabling was customized and made in China, to the exact length and type the data centers needed. Our international logistics team then managed delivery from our locations worldwide, so every component arrived where and when it was needed.
The last step was the installation on site in Sydney. Our team cabled three data centers at the same time, both horizontal and vertical cabling. Doing three sites in parallel only works if ordering, production and delivery are planned together. That's the point of having everything under one roof: one contact for the customer, and no gaps between suppliers.
